The Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and dynamic Band 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist to oversee advanced non-invasive cardiology diagnostics, particularly in Echocardiography, at their Carshalton location. The role involves providing a comprehensive echo service, including various types of echocardiograms, and leading physiologist-led stress echo and valve clinic services. Candidates should possess a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent) and BSE accreditation, along with significant experience as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist.

In this role, the Chief Cardiac Physiologist will independently perform and report echocardiography, while also focusing on clinical and leadership development. Key responsibilities include training junior staff to achieve accreditation, advancing their own expertise in complex procedures, and participating in ongoing professional development, with additional training available as needed.
