The role of a Band 7 Occupational Therapist in Vocational Rehabilitation with the Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust involves providing specialized support to stroke survivors in West Essex and Hertfordshire. The therapist will work within a multidisciplinary team, assessing and addressing patients' needs to help them return to employment, education, or assist with a dignified exit from work if desired. Responsibilities include the delivery and clinical development of the Vocational Rehabilitation Service, creating individualized care plans, and leading service monitoring and evaluation initiatives.

Additionally, the therapist will engage in effective communication with team members and patients, contribute to policy and service development, and manage clinical caseloads autonomously. The role requires travel across various sites, along with the opportunity for leadership and service development within a new collaborative service framework. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning skills and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of patients, all while maintaining professional standards and improving service delivery.
