The patient services team is made up of experienced and supportive team and led by the patient services manager.
Saffron Health Partnership has an opportunity for a patient liaison office to join our team on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. This role will be based across three sites, Biggleswade, Sandy and Langford surgeries.
The patient services team is made up of experienced and supportive team and led by the patient services manager. Day-to-day support will be given by a team leader.
- Answer, navigate and forward incoming phone calls, using a complex appointments system, in a large office, with many interruptions.
- Signposting patients to the most appropriate service.
- Greet patients at a busy reception.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Perform other clerical duties such as emailing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Accept, issue, and hand out letters, completed forms, specimen bottles.
- Advise patients of practice procedures.
- Hand out dispensed medication to patients when required.
- Register new patients.
