Saffron Health Partnership is seeking a part-time Patient Liaison Officer to join their team in Biggleswade, offering 30 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday across three locations: Biggleswade, Sandy, and Langford surgeries. The role involves managing incoming phone calls using a complex appointment system, assisting patients at the reception, providing essential information, and performing various clerical tasks such as emailing and document management. Additionally, the officer will be responsible for advising patients on practice procedures, registering new patients, and distributing medications when necessary.
The successful candidate will be part of a supportive patient services team led by a manager and a team leader, ensuring efficient service delivery in a busy environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate multiple responsibilities are key to succeeding in this role.

Saffron Health Partnership has an opportunity for a patient liaison office to join our team on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. This role will be based across three sites, Biggleswade, Sandy and Langford surgeries.
The patient services team is made up of experienced and supportive team and led by the patient services manager. Day-to-day support will be given by a team leader.
- Answer, navigate and forward incoming phone calls, using a complex appointments system, in a large office, with many interruptions.
- Signposting patients to the most appropriate service.
- Greet patients at a busy reception.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Perform other clerical duties such as emailing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Accept, issue, and hand out letters, completed forms, specimen bottles.
- Advise patients of practice procedures.
- Hand out dispensed medication to patients when required.
- Register new patients.
