The "Critical Care Education and Simulation Fellow" position at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust offers a unique opportunity for candidates to gain hands-on experience in Intensive Care Medicine (ICM) and emergency medicine within a busy district general hospital. This role is particularly suitable for those considering a career in ICM or related acute care specialties, including FICM trainees pursuing their special skills Stage 2 training. Candidates are expected to have some prior experience in ICM, as the clinical training follows the FICM's structured outcome-based curriculum.

The fellowship will focus on developing simulation training programs and educational materials, allowing fellows to engage in practical ICM provision, design simulation scenarios, and enhance their skills in delivering debriefing and feedback. Additionally, fellows will participate in data collection for research purposes, contribute to in-situ simulation courses, and help manage the ICU's social media presence, fostering a comprehensive approach to critical care education.
