The Educational Mental Health Practitioner/Child Wellbeing Practitioner (EMHP/CWP) role at ABL Health Ltd in Cheney Manor involves providing clinical and non-clinical support to children, young people, and their families across Swindon. As an EMHP/CWP, you will conduct evidence-based assessments and deliver low-intensity interventions in educational settings for mild to moderate mental health difficulties, collaborating closely with school mental health leads and other professionals. Key responsibilities include facilitating 1:1 and group interventions, managing caseloads, supporting referrals for more complex cases, and maintaining accurate records in line with health and education protocols.

In this position, you will work within a diverse team, focused on empowering children and families to self-manage mental health challenges while ensuring adherence to safeguarding and professional standards. You will continue to develop your skills through ongoing training and supervision, contributing to the creation of clinical training materials, and engaging in multi-agency meetings to support holistic care for those in need.
