The East of England Ambulance Service is seeking a Telecommunications Consultant to lead and implement their telecommunications strategy across the Trust. This role focuses on ensuring the delivery and continuity of IT telephony services, managing the technical design of telecommunications infrastructure, and establishing standards for functional specifications to align with the Trust’s strategic vision. The successful candidate will oversee all telecommunications technology requirements, maintain documentation of the infrastructure, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to optimize service delivery.

Hybrid working is available, with the requirement to attend one of the Trust's regional bases in Bedford, Chelmsford, or Norwich as needed. Ideal candidates should possess expertise in telecommunications technology and be capable of shaping the Trust's strategies in accordance with current industry standards. Additionally, they will review system development methodologies to ensure a consistent approach across all IM&T programmes.
