Harlequin Surgery, a GMS practice in East Birmingham serving 11,000 patients, is seeking an experienced GP for a Salaried position covering 4-6 sessions weekly, with mandatory availability on Thursdays and Fridays. The practice is a training facility for GP registrars, FY2s, and medical students. The role offers a competitive salary, indemnity coverage, and potential partnership opportunities in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload and address a wide range of health needs, ensuring high standards of care for patients.
  • Conduct surgery, telephone, and home consultations, manage prescriptions, and handle queries and paperwork.
  • Act autonomously in clinical decision-making, assess patient health needs, and develop care plans in line with accepted protocols.
  • Record consultations accurately and comply with practice policies on prescribing, confidentiality, and health & safety.
  • Participate in training and development, audits, and contribute to the quality improvement of the practice.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate must be a fully qualified GP with relevant experience.
