Opportunity to shape and lead the communications and engagement strategy for an ambitious major programme that will transform the way we delivery healthcare infrastructure for the future NHS, including developing a legacy of exceptional and enduring capability for Trusts, the wider healthcare system and industry

Key aspects of this role will be to:

Develop, deliver, and embed a clear communications and engagement plan for all NHP activity, ensuring coordination across Programme level activity and Trust-led activity which reflects the wider strategic context and helps deliver the NHP objectives.

Effective leadership of a high performing team where everyone is able to contribute and supporting professional development.

Quality assurance for all communications and engagement across NHP's diverse stakeholder groups to meet the NHP objectives and delivery plan. (e.g., DHSC Sponsor Team, NHS Executives, Trust CEOs, Scheme Project Teams, IPA, Cabinet Office, Treasury, NHP Senior Leadership, and the Public).

Respond to media enquiries and lead sensitive stakeholder management and correspondence activity.

Ensure delivery of the communications and engagement plan is appropriately resourced, including the development of new core materials and collateral as necessary

Ensure appropriate system and processes (e.g., Customer Relationship Management) are in place to enable the implementation of the strategy plans across stakeholders.

Proactively manage the key risks and issues associated with ensuring appropriate actions are taken to mitigate or respond.

Manage the whole budgetary implications of activity.
