The CAMHS SPOA Practitioner at Pennine Care NHS FT in Rochdale will be an integral member of the Single Point of Access Team, aiding in the screening, triaging, and outcome processing of referrals for mental health services for children and adolescents. The role involves collaborating with families, educators, and various professionals to ensure the provision of timely access to mental health support and advice, while effectively managing and assessing risk related to the referrals.

Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health services, possess excellent risk management skills, and have experience in referral screening and decision-making. Responsibilities also include managing a defined caseload, delivering therapeutic inputs, and providing consultation and training to other professionals on children's emotional health and well-being issues. The practitioner will work closely with multiple agencies to coordinate care plans and advocate for increased awareness of mental health issues among children and young people.
