Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Senior Clinical Fellows to join its expanding Thoracic Surgery service at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester. This role comes as the service enhances its lung cancer screening initiatives and prepares for significant growth, performing over 900 anatomical lung resections annually, with 50% utilizing minimally invasive techniques including Robotically Assisted Thoracic Surgery (RATS). The position offers the opportunity to work closely with consultant surgeons, participate in operating theatres and outpatient clinics, and gain comprehensive experience in diverse thoracic surgical procedures.

Candidates will join a dynamic team of 9 cardiothoracic registrars and will rotate through various consultant pairings, enjoying the same training opportunities as higher surgical trainees.
