An exciting opportunity has arisen to join general Band 6 Physiotherapy rotations. Our ten fantastic rotations provide unique opportunities to work in new and innovative ways; for example an MDT prehabilitation services in vascular and HPB surgery, NIV in both the acute and domiciliary settings led by our Physiotherapy Consultant and a fast paced REAM team in A&E with our new ACP physiotherapist.
The ten nine month rotations cover a broad range of specialties as follows;
o Intensive care and HDU
o Medicine - including Acute NIV, respiratory outpatients and cover to the High Level Isolation Unit.
o Hepato-Pancreatico-biliary surgery including ERAS pathway and prehabilitation
o Orthopaedics
o Vascular and amputees
o Oncology ward
o Oncology hospice
o Health services for elderly people
o Renal
o REAM (Rapids in emergency and acute medicine)
You will be part of the respiratory weekend and on call service and receive yearly training updates including the use of Simulation based learning.
