The role of Band 8a CAMHS Clinical Service Manager in Bristol, with the Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, seeks a dynamic individual passionate about children's mental health. This position involves joint management of the CAMHS Intensive Outreach Team (CIOT) and Urgent Care and Treatment (UCAT) teams, focusing on providing effective mental health services across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various partners, such as child health, social care, and voluntary sectors, to enhance service delivery, particularly in crisis situations.

The role requires strong leadership to ensure compassionate care is provided to young people experiencing mental health crises, including hospital assessments and intensive outreach support. The post also involves managing a 24/7 emergency response line and overseeing interventions to prevent hospital admissions, thereby promoting stability for young individuals and facilitating smoother transitions from higher levels of care.
