The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced oncology nurse for the role of Practice Education Lead for Children's and TYA (Teenagers and Young Adults) Cancer. This role focuses on delivering and supporting educational initiatives both regionally and at the primary treatment center in Oxford, which serves as a tertiary center for paediatric and TYA cancer. The successful candidate will collaborate with a national group of educators to implement an education strategy aligned with national recommendations and promote high standards of care across the Thames Valley Children's and TYA Clinical Academic Group (CAG).

Key responsibilities include demonstrating clinical expertise, facilitating a positive learning environment, overseeing nurse education pathways, and supporting the continuing professional development of nursing staff. The role involves a blend of clinical practice and education, maintaining high standards in clinical care, conducting audits, and actively engaging in research. The Lead will also navigate management responsibilities and professional advocacy while contributing to policy development and the growth of nursing staff, ensuring compliance with national training standards and promoting best practices throughout the network.
