The Junior Sister/Junior Charge Nurse role within Provide CIC in Maldon involves collaborating closely with the community matron to plan and manage patient care across a large area, covering bases in Maldon, Witham, South Woodham Ferrers, and Burnham on Crouch. Key responsibilities include leading the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care, managing caseloads, formulating and reviewing care plans, and promoting health education for patients and their families. The post holder is expected to develop effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and social services while supporting the team in delivering coordinated care, including complex discharges and palliative care.

Candidates must demonstrate leadership abilities, effective time and resource management, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and training. They will participate in staff meetings, support new staff induction and supervision, and act as mentors for students and qualified staff. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of patient care and clinical standards.
