Schoen Clinic Chelsea is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) for a Bank position to join their multidisciplinary team, specialising in the assessment and diagnosis of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The SALT will conduct comprehensive communication assessments as part of the Autism Diagnostic Pathway, collaborate with a Consultant Psychiatrist and other professionals, and provide detailed reports. The role also involves supporting parents and caregivers with guidance throughout the diagnostic process.
This position requires expertise in ASD-related communication challenges and a commitment to integrated, patient-centered care.
About usThe successful candidate will be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT). You will have proven experience assessing children and adolescents with communication disorders, including those related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and familiarity with autism assessment tools and approaches, including knowledge of ADOS-2 and its use within the MDT.
