The "Specialist Pharmacist" role at Nuffield Health Hospital Tunbridge Wells involves delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to oncology, haemato-oncology, and elective surgical patients. Key responsibilities include conducting medicines reconciliation, managing discharge medications, providing drug information and clinical counselling, developing SACT treatment protocols, and educating colleagues. The position requires regular collaboration with pharmacy and oncology leads across Nuffield Health sites, maintaining pharmaceutical care plans, and verifying treatment prescriptions.

Ideal candidates should have oncology experience and be self-motivated, with at least 0.8 WTE focused on oncology services and 0.2 WTE on elective surgical patient care. The role offers flexibility in working hours and is suitable for a Band 7 (or equivalent) pharmacist who enjoys direct patient interaction.
