Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner for Children and Young People to join their integrated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Gwent. This part-time role (30 hours per week) offers a unique opportunity for professional development alongside clinical practice, enabling the post holder to build competencies in supporting children, young people, and their families facing emotional distress and mental health challenges. The successful applicant will be involved in conducting assessments, providing brief therapeutic interventions, consulting with professionals, and guiding families, while receiving support from a designated Lead Practitioner.

Applicants must hold a relevant mental health professional qualification as stipulated in the Mental Health (Wales) Measure, such as Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Practitioner Psychologist. While proficiency in Welsh is desirable, both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged to apply.
