The Occupational Therapist role with the Forensic Intellectual and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (FIND) Community Team at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust offers a unique opportunity to support the transition of inpatients to community settings. The position involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide specialized assessments and interventions for individuals with mental illness, offending histories, and learning disabilities, focusing on their recovery goals and daily living skills. The therapist will utilize evidence-based practices, including the Model of Human Occupation and the Recovery Approach, to develop tailored treatment plans and facilitate independent living for service users with complex needs.
