The Band 3 Outpatient Booking Clerk at the Longbridge Centre, under the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, will be responsible for monitoring, recording, and booking appointments while managing a busy telephone line and processing incoming mail and clinical correspondence. The role involves a variety of administrative duties and requires effective collaboration with team members, multi-disciplinary professionals, and service users to provide support to the Community Mental Health Team.

Candidates must demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills and the ability to work independently, ensuring that appointment requests and enquiries are handled efficiently and in a timely manner. The position also includes assisting in the development of a streamlined appointment booking system for both new and existing patients, while maintaining clear communication that aligns with the organisation’s values.
