Livewell Southwest is seeking a Management Accountant to join their evolving Management Accounts team in Plymouth. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) is crucial in providing accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and strategic advice to support the organisation's operational plans and workforce management. The successful candidate will collaborate with service managers and other accountants to ensure accurate establishment and budgeting processes, assist in setting budgets for the upcoming financial year, and maintain updated records in the ledger and ESR systems. Additionally, they will support the payroll and pension officer with daily tasks, report on vacancies, and contribute to various financial planning activities.

The role offers flexibility in working arrangements, including hybrid options with a minimum of one office day per week. Candidates should demonstrate motivation and enthusiasm for improving healthcare services across Devon. Responsibilities include meeting budget holders, providing budget training, investigating variances, and actively participating in business planning and workforce strategy implementation. Applicants should be prepared for a dynamic working environment and willing to adapt to emerging responsibilities as required by the organisation.
