The Locum Consultant in Dermatology position at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Beckenham involves providing and developing outpatient dermatology services alongside a multi-disciplinary team. The role encompasses clinical responsibilities, effective leadership, and active teaching and training of junior staff. The consultant will participate in 7 PAs of workload, contribute to patient care management, and engage in research and clinical governance initiatives, without any on-call commitments. The postholder will be expected to work across various Trust sites and support the ongoing development and operation of the Care Group's services while maintaining high quality healthcare standards.

Moreover, the consultant will share responsibility for the clinical supervision of junior medical practitioners, participate in audits, and assist with the Care Group's business planning. They are also tasked with fostering professional development among the staff, ensuring compliance with Trust policies, and maintaining patient safety through evidence-based practices.
