We are looking to recruit a passionate, dynamic and motivated anaesthetic theatre practitioner, to join our friendly team as an Anaesthetic Band 6 Team Leader.
The post will be an anaesthetic specialist-based role, but multi skilled Operating Department Practitioners/Registered Nurses are also encouraged to apply. This role will be for an expanding theatre department at Musgrove Park Hospital, mainly focusing on orthopaedic and head and neck anaesthetics. However, will also include working closely with the anaesthetic team leaders in other departments, in order to standardise the approach to anaesthetics.

They will be required to deputise for senior staff in their absence and take it in turn to co-ordinate the department with the alongside other Band 6s. They will ensure Clinical Governance by driving audits, training, risk management and staff management to sustain and improve high standards of patient care.
