Omnes Healthcare Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Sonographer to join its ultrasound service across various locations in North East London, including Barking, Havering and Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, and Newham. The role involves assisting the Ultrasound Clinical Lead with staff organisation and supervision, ensuring efficient and high-standard ultrasound examinations, and performing a wide range of sonographic assessments—excluding obstetrics. Candidates must be proficient in abdominal, scrotal, renal, gynaecological (both transvaginal and transabdominal), musculoskeletal, and vascular examinations, with current HCPC registration and a postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound.

The successful candidate will work independently while collaborating with a Clinical Support Worker and must have reported on at least 900 ultrasound scans in the past year. What will the role entail?

To provide a high standard of work as agreed by the service demands
To ensure that the ultrasound examinations of patients are carried out efficiently, consistent with keeping to the standard required

With the exception of Obstetrics, we offer a full range of ultrasound examinations. The candidates should possess various skills and be experienced in performing/reporting the following sonographic examinations:

Abdominal
Scrotal
Renal
Gynaecology, (Transvaginal, Transabdominal)
MSK
Vascular
