The Senior LAS in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (ST4+) position at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is a six-month appointment focused on the clinical care of patients in the Emergency Department. Key responsibilities include conducting resuscitations, examinations, investigations, diagnoses, and treatments, while working within a multidisciplinary team and under senior supervision. The role also involves collaboration with other medical staff, participating in major incident procedures, assisting with ambulance services, contributing to clinical governance and departmental improvements, and engaging in teaching and training for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
