The Southampton Acute and Crisis Psychology Team is seeking a fixed-term Psychological Practitioner/Therapist, specifically an accredited therapist in CBT, MBT, or CAT, to join their modern acute mental health inpatient facility and crisis resolution service. The role involves providing high-quality, recovery-focused care to adults with various mental health challenges, including psychosis and trauma. Candidates should have experience in assessments and brief psychological interventions, and be willing to undergo training in the Comprehend, Cope and Connect (CCC) approach. The position emphasises teamwork, transparency, and empathy, and includes responsibilities like risk assessment, treatment planning, and clinical supervision, along with opportunities for teaching and professional development. Applicants must be from the Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS system and flexible working arrangements can be discussed. This position is available for 12 months and can be considered as a secondment.
