King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a motivated Research Coordinator at Band 6 level to join the neuroscience division, specifically within the International Centre of Excellence in Parkinson's care and research. This temporary position, lasting until March 2025, involves working across various sub-specialties, primarily focusing on neurodegenerative disorders and clinical trials aligned with the Department of Health's national portfolio. The coordinator will operate under the guidance of Professor K Ray Chaudhuri and Alexandra Rizos, managing tasks such as identifying patients for clinical trials, assisting with trial procedures, collecting and managing data, and ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

Key responsibilities include attending clinics and Multidisciplinary Team meetings to screen potential participants, coordinating study visits, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role also encompasses data management, regulatory adherence, and acting as a research resource. The ideal candidate should possess experience in clinical research and a solid understanding of GCP, with duties extending to recruiting for observational trials and participating in research governance meetings.
