University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated nurse or therapist for the role of MS Specialist Nurse/Practitioner (Band 6-7 training post) within the Dorset Multiple Sclerosis Service in Poole. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and relevant experience to provide high-quality, specialist care to individuals with MS, from diagnosis onwards. Responsibilities include delivering assessments, interventions, monitoring, and offering support to patients and their families in both hospital and community settings.

The position involves working autonomously to promote clinical excellence and act as a resource of specialized knowledge. The role also includes providing information, advice, and psychological support, as well as engaging in educational initiatives and participating in Trust meetings. Candidates must hold an active UK NMC Registration or HCPC Qualification, and the training post allows for advancement to Band 7 following successful completion of specific training and competency assessments.
