Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Trust is hosting a Volunteering event on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at St. Catherine's House in Doncaster. The event aims to present various administration volunteer opportunities within the Doncaster Physical Health Care Group and Backbone Services, including roles for Volunteer Drivers. Attendees will have the chance to meet the team, discuss volunteering within RDaSH, and initiate the necessary paperwork to start volunteering, so bringing relevant identification is recommended.

This volunteering experience is designed to support meaningful activities, provide valuable experience, and help with job readiness while allowing participants to contribute back to the NHS and connect with new people. Light refreshments will be provided, and all out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed for active volunteers, alongside opportunities for training and development. While face-to-face volunteering is required for these roles, individuals who cannot attend the event can reach out via email to explore available opportunities.

More about the NHS
The National Health Service (NHS) is a cornerstone of healthcare in the United Kingdom, established in 1948 with the simple yet profound principle of providing healthcare to all citizens, free at the point of use. This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.
