Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time qualified Clinical Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team focused on supporting Children and Young People (up to age 18) in Warrington. The role involves embracing the organisation's core values of recovery and respect for service users and their families, while participating in the innovative 'No Wrong Door' program, which integrates various support services for complex adolescents. The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, implementing tailored interventions, and collaborating with colleagues to develop treatment plans that address mental health issues.

In addition, the position will include supervision responsibilities for assistant clinical psychologists, participation in multi-agency risk assessments, and the opportunity to contribute to research and service evaluation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, creativity, and a commitment to fostering positive change in challenging situations, while offering psychological guidance and consultation across various settings. A developmental opportunity is available for committed candidates, allowing progression from band 7 to band 8a as competence in the role is achieved.
