Clinical Nurse Specialist - Abbeygate Ward
Is it your passion to work creatively to provide Mental Health support to older adults on an inpatient ward within Wedgwood House? Would you like to work in a dynamic, creative and committed multi-disciplinary team? Are you a highly motivated, compassionate and dedicated mental health professional?
We are excited to have an opportunity for a clinical nurse specialist to join our established team in Bury St Edmunds.
You must be able to demonstrate a warm, compassionate and needs-led approach to working with our service users.
As part of this team, responsibilities would include undertaking audits whilst promoting quality care, working collaboratively with individuals and other supporting agencies to manage needs on discharge from hospital as well as leading the team by example to demonstrate high quality care.
This role will give you the time and facilities to make a difference. You will have the ability to offer and support the team with person-centred care whilst building trusting relationships to increase engagement with individuals suffering from severe mental illness during the admission process. The main duties are:
In turn we will provide you with regular clinical and management supervision with an emphasis on reflective practice. We hold a strong belief in team and individual development. We provide a full induction program and have extensive training and career development that can be accessed across our Trust.
