Northumberland County Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join their Adults Safeguarding Team within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Morpeth. The role involves assessing and analyzing risks, conducting triage of new safeguarding referrals, and collaborating with multiple partner agencies, including Northumbria Police and Health Services, to ensure the safety of adults at risk. The position is full-time (37 hours per week) with opportunities for hybrid working, offering a starting salary of £38,626, which can increase to £42,708.

Candidates must possess a Social Work Degree, registration with Social Work England, and a valid UK driving license. Responsibilities include conducting home visits, completing assessments, and identifying immediate risks. The successful candidate will work closely with safeguarding managers and team managers and will be based in Bedlington, with a focus on meeting tight timelines and ensuring organisational safeguarding practices.
