The South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Wakefield CAMHS Eating Disorders Team in Castleford. This role involves working closely with children and young people (CYP) experiencing eating disorders, providing 1:1 interventions and facilitating group activities to enhance their functioning and promote recovery. The ideal candidate will have, or soon obtain, a relevant qualification and a passion for mental health, with experience in children’s services preferred but not essential. The position requires strong communication skills, flexibility for travel between health centers, and a commitment to improving service delivery within a multidisciplinary team context.

The Occupational Therapist will engage in assessment and treatment planning, coordinate care for a designated caseload, and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities include documenting progress, providing training and advice, and participating in service development while adhering to professional standards. The position offers regular supervision, a comprehensive induction, and an emphasis on personal and professional development, with operational hours from Monday to Friday.
