The successful candidate will cultivate supportive relationships with various stakeholders, including children, families, staff, and volunteers. They will be responsible for developing and implementing diverse methods for participation and feedback, working collaboratively with clinical services to gather insights that will inform service improvements for children and young people facing life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, including their siblings.
We are really excited to be offer the rare and exciting opportunity to become Demelzas next Children and Young Peoples (CYP engagement officer. To engage with children and young people who use Demelzas services to seek their views and involvement to shape and influence current and future services.
To develop a fully inclusive approach to engaging with children and young people including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). To develop and advocate the Voice of the Child throughout the organisation. To promote and deliver opportunities to seek the review of services accessed by children and young people with life limiting and life-threatening conditions and their siblings, to support service development.
