The Clinical Governance Officer position at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust involves providing essential administrative support to the quality and safety initiatives of the Care Group. Key responsibilities include managing complaints and incident investigations, preparing and minuting meetings, and tracking documentation related to governance. The officer will support senior management by ensuring effective communication and efficient record-keeping, including monitoring Datix incident reporting, logging Freedom of Information requests, and compiling weekly reports on complaints and patient safety incidents. The role also entails coordinating meetings related to complaints, overseeing compliance with Duty of Candour, and maintaining centralized governance information. The position is part-time, requiring 22 hours of work per week.
