Band 4: £26,530 to £29,114 a year per annum, pro rata  FIXED TERM

As the Clinical Governance Officer, you will support the quality and Safety Agenda of the Care Group and wider organisation, working closely with senior colleagues to provide essential administration support in complaints handling, incident investigation. Providing information which contribute to Care Group reports. The post holder will also be responsible for preparing meeting agendas, and minuting meetings

The post holder will support senior managers with the care group quality and safety agenda to support effective communication and record keeping within the care group to ensure deadline are maintained and evidence is collated. Other responsibilities include, Preparing and minuting the Care Group Governance Agenda along with the Learning from Deaths meeting. Circulating / monitoring of documents to the Care Group Leadership team and CSU leadership teams. Logging and tracking any Freedom of Information requests, ensuring requests are submitted in time. Administration of changes in Datix, monitoring of overdue Datixs and providing monthly Datix reports as required, escalating to the senior team as required. Maintain Care Group tracker, for Complaints, Concerns and Patient Safety Incident Investigations providing weekly reports. Attend weekly complaints catch-up with Governance Team and Head of Patient Experience Co-ordinate and arrange complaints meetings with the investigator/staff and patient/family. Monitor Duty of Candour letters sent out from the Care Group/upload to Datix. Ensuring they are answered in time. Update Datix Actions with new Action Plans / update any closed actions. Maintain Care Group hub information. Monitor the surgical governance inbox.
