A well-established and friendly training practice is looking for a dedicated salaried GP (4-8 sessions per week) to join our team. You will be working alongside two GP partners, two salaried GPs, our reliable regular locums, three nurses, HCA, GPA, DAs, PCN colleagues and a pharmacist. SALARY:
£12, 000 per session + company pension + indemnity cover
Consulting patients F2F or via telephone appts.
Co-operating with the admin team on the QOF work (understanding of chronic disease management).
An ON-CALL shift once per week (8am- 6.30pm)
Going to HVs.
Prescribing and signing repeat prescriptions.
Dealing with assigned queries, paperwork and workflow case load.
Attending regular Clinical Governance Meetings.
Undertake all the duties associated with the role of a General Practitioner required by the GMS/PMS contract
Comply with all the objectives of the GMS/PMS Contract
Support and contribute to the development of Practice clinical procedures and protocols
Accurate and timely input of patient data onto the clinical system
Carrying out clinical audit as appropriate
Completion of reports for solicitors, insurance companies and others
Liaise with other health care professionals when required
Act in a way that protects the confidentiality of patients and maintains the integrity of the patient / Practice relationship
Take on Lead responsibilities in any agreed area of Practice management
Support the development and compliance of the Practice Health and Safety policy
Take on Lead responsibilities in any agreed area of clinical management
Participate in the GP appraisal scheme
