The adult Audiology team need a friendly, compassionate Receptionist to meet and Greet patients as required , answer phone calls and help with other reception/ administrative tasks as required,providing the highest possible service and care for the hearing impaired across East Cheshire.
We have recently been UKAS accredited and this is the gold standard for Physiological care within the UK, of which we are very proud. You will be trained as required and we have monthly team meetings of which you will be involved. Your input into the service and your opinions will be very valued. You will be required to undertake annual mandatory training as required by the Trust and any additional training you may require will be forthcoming.
Hours per week: 22.5
Meet and greet patients, answer the telephone , help with patient queries, check stock as it arrives and book onto the electronic stock control module, advise the booking team as required when ear moulds are received so that appointments can be made, give out batteries and slim tubes for hearing aids and liaise with clinical , booking and Hub staff as required.
We are looking for an empathic person who can adapt their approach to dealing with the hearing impaired over the telephone and in person. Computer literacy is a must have as is a professional and helpful telephone manner and the willingness to help the patient and liaise with other staff members.
