The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Highly Specialist Dietitian to join their Neonatal team at Nottingham Children's Hospital. This permanent position, at 0.6 WTE, involves supporting neonates across the QMC and City campuses and includes responsibilities such as conducting dietary assessments for infants requiring nutritional support, participating in outpatient reviews, and attending consultant-led clinics. The role emphasises collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, while also focusing on the nutritional management of infants, particularly those needing surgery.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in neonatal care or pediatrics, demonstrating a strong understanding of developmentally sensitive care. They will work autonomously to provide specialized dietary interventions, lead clinical guideline development, and contribute to team development within an established dietetic service comprising 32 professionals. This position presents an opportunity to showcase the importance of dietetics in neonatology and to lead initiatives that enhance nutritional care for vulnerable infants and their families.
