King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist to join its expanding Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service in London. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in physical health within a busy medical environment and will contribute to the delivery of specialized psychological services to patients. Responsibilities include providing assessments and treatments for psychological issues affecting treatment adherence and well-being, offering clinical consultation to a multidisciplinary team, participating in service evaluation and research, and delivering teaching and training.

The role demands autonomy in professional practice, guided by HCPC and BPS standards, and entails working closely with various health professionals to optimize patient care. The psychologist will also take part in service development initiatives, support families impacted by cystic fibrosis, and ensure accessibility for diverse communities. Opportunities for collaboration with a local network of psychologists and professional supervision from a senior psychologist will be available to foster ongoing professional development.
