Applicants should be eager to improve patient care, and mentorship and education opportunities will be provided. Proficiency in Welsh is desirable, but candidates who are fluent in either Welsh or English are encouraged to apply. Informal conversations with the team are welcomed for those interested in the position.
The post is advertised as a band 7. However, applicants who do not currently meet the skills and competences for the band 7 role, are encouraged to apply and, if successful, will be appointed under annex 21 rules supported by a development plan for 3 years.

We will provide mentorship, education and strive to improve your practice and knowledge.
The post holder will be part of the Musculoskeletal Early Intervention Service who care for outpatients with musculoskeletal pain (of 18 months duration or less) who are based at Chirk Hospital. We are an MDT Service.
The ability to assess complex needs of patients using the biopsychosocial model. The post holder will work independently and as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, using evidence based practice within the area of speciality. The ability to lead, motivate and develop others in pain management.
