MENTAL HEALTHNHS
The Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) role with the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust involves providing support to children, young people, and their families linked to specific schools in Maidstone. The EMHP will engage in targeted interventions, promote a Whole School Approach to mental health, and participate in consultations and team activities. The service aims to enhance early access to mental health support, with a focus on preventative measures and effective integration of mental health education in schools.

Candidates should be qualified EMHPs, or those about to qualify, with a passion for service development and a commitment to participating in research and co-production projects. The position offers opportunities for professional growth, including continued professional development (CPD) and potential pathways towards senior roles within the trust. The ideal applicants will have a strong interest in enhancing the mental well-being of students while working collaboratively with educational institutions and other agencies across Kent and Medway.
