The role of Divisional Lead Pharmacist - Surgery, Women's & Oncology (SuWOn) at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust involves leading the pharmacy services for the Surgery, Women's, and Oncology Division. This position is part of the leadership team for the OUH Clinical Pharmacy Service and entails overseeing pharmacy operations across various directorates, including Oncology & Haematology, Surgery, Renal Transplant & Urology, and others. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical pharmacy services in accordance with national standards, manage a team effectively, and collaborate closely with the pharmacy directorate to optimize medicine management and patient care.

Key responsibilities include providing expert pharmaceutical advice, mitigating risks in medicine management, and balancing human resource management with adherence to medicines governance, safety, and stewardship. The role requires a commitment to the Trust's values and best practices in clinical pharmacy, making the Divisional Lead an integral part of the management team focused on enhancing patient outcomes through effective pharmacy services.
