This role involves supporting a child with special educational needs (SEN) in school. As a Sonderwell Complex Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalised care and assistance to the client, helping them with their daily activities and enabling them to live the life they choose. You will be part of a supportive team that will provide you with the necessary training and development to ensure you can effectively support the client's complex needs.

The role of a Sonderwell Complex Care Assistant involves providing personalised care and support to a client with complex needs. This may include tasks such as tracheostomy care, oral suctioning, tracheal suctioning, nasopharyngeal suctioning, enteral feeding, oxygen therapy, and PEG feeding. You will be required to have experience in these areas and the patience and flexibility to meet the client's individual needs. Sonderwell will provide you with the necessary training and support, including access to online and classroom training, as well as the opportunity to study for a relevant NVQ.

Hourly Pay: £14.00 Location: Ilkley Shift: 3 Days During The Week 08.20-15.50    For this role you will be supporting a child with SEN in school.   As a Sonderwell Complex Care Assistant, you can make a real difference to people’s lives, by caring for their complex needs and enabling them to live the life they choose. If you wish and have the availability, you could provide to support more than one client.   Before you start, you’ll have the chance to meet your client and their family. And when you do, you’ll have day-to-day support with a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager always on hand to answer your questions. You’ll also be able to access our ‘Carer App’ which is a fantastic source of insight and information.
