We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Lewes, a category B male Prison located in near the centre of the historical town of Lewes, which is just a 5 minute walk away.
Hours37.5 hours a week working Monday to Friday, 07.00-19.30pm. Working 3 longer days for 3 weeks, 4 longer days 1 in every 4. Weekend working, once a month.
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £47250 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks
As a Senior Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Provide clinical leadership to small team of paramedics
- Have an individual approach to all patients, providing triage, minor illness and minor injury assessment
- Undertake the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care, within the healthcare centre and on the Wings/ blocks
- Perform procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound care and cardiac & CVA intervention
