MENTAL HEALTH MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS
The Band 6 Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner position with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust offers a full-time opportunity within the Solihull Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. This role is essential to the ongoing development of community mental health services in line with the NHS Long Term Plan, focusing on enhancing primary care teams. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with GPs and other primary care professionals to provide mental health triage, assessments, and interventions tailored to the needs of local service users, while promoting psychosocial well-being and supporting pathways for both service users and their carers.

Candidates must be enthusiastic and dynamic professionals capable of functioning effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring robust communication with mental health providers and community organisations. Key responsibilities include identifying service user needs, advising colleagues, and implementing outcome-based interventions to achieve optimal results for individuals in the community.
