The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist for the Medicine Rehabilitation Wards at Rugby St Cross Hospital. This role focuses on the recovery and rehabilitation of medical patients, particularly those transferred from the Coventry site, and emphasises integrating them back into the community. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, implement evidence-based and client-centered interventions, and participate in team discussions while also contributing to service development and clinical practice evaluation. A two-week supernumerary period is offered for onboarding.

The post holder will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, develop enhanced clinical skills, supervise staff and students, and adapt treatment modalities based on individual patient needs. Additionally, the role involves maintaining high-quality documentation, collaborating with various healthcare professionals, and contributing to clinical governance and quality standards within the Trust. The position may require participation in a 7-day working pattern and adherence to professional conduct regulations established by relevant governing bodies.
