Band 5: £29,970 to £36,483 a year pro rata pa  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

Are you looking for an opportunity to work within Physiotherapy in a varied setting? There is an opportunity to join a supportive Physiotherapy team at UHDB, working as part of the 6 monthly rotational scheme providing a high standard physiotherapy service. The rotation involves working across all five sites of University Hospitals of Derby and Burton in a range of ward settings, outpatient departments and rehabilitation units. Experience of working in the Community setting is also included.

All of the core experience areas are included: MSK outpatients, Respiratory, Neuro and Elderly Care as well as additional specialities including Hand Therapy, Group Rehab, stroke and neuro rehab, Neuro Outpatients and head injuries, Intensive Care, Surgery, Respiratory Medicine, Acute Medicine and Elderly Care, Parkinsons Disease, Trauma and Orthopaedics, ED, Women's Health, Oncology, and Community care inclusive of respiratory and rehabilitation pathways.

There is also a comprehensive programme of preceptorship for newly qualified staff.

We will support applications from candidates due to graduate in January/February 2025.

To rotate through different specialities every 6 months.

To participate on the 24hour on call emergency respiratory roster once trained and inducted.

To work various shift patterns according to speciality service needs, over seven days a weeks

To carry clinical caseloads and contribute to service delivery.

To participate in a well-established programme supporting your career pathway and personal development.

To perform physiotherapy assessments of patients with diverse presentations.

To deliver physiotherapy treatment programmes.

To hold own clinical caseload and be responsible for a defined area of service.

To provide a flexible service during pressure times.

To contribute to the training and supervision of Therapy Support Workers and more junior staff.

To aid in the delivery of the work experience service.

To undertake specific tasks as delegated by the senior staff e.g. recruitment and retention events.
