The role of Salaried GP at First 4 Health Group, based at Stratford Village Surgery, focuses on providing high-quality general medical services to the local population. The practice prioritizes innovative healthcare solutions, health equity, and continuous improvement of patient services, while supporting the professional development of its staff through mentorship and an internally funded fellowship scheme. The selected candidate will work primarily at one site but may have the option for cross-site work, engage in the documentation and management of patient records, and contribute to clinical procedures and protocols.

Candidates should possess experience in UK general practice, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster collaboration among teams. Responsibilities include managing patient appointments, entering data accurately, mentoring GP Registrars and medical students, and actively participating in practice meetings to ensure targets for quality and activity are met in alignment with various healthcare contracts. Experience of working in UK general practice
Experience in maintaining patients records at an acceptable standard for audit purposes
To understand the patients perspective in developing and delivering quality services
The ability to develop close working partnerships between individuals, teams, and organisations
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Support and contribute to the development of Practice clinical procedures and protocols
Good IT Skills - and in particular a commitment and willingness to engage with and pro-actively use EMIS Web: Tasks : Workflow: EPS2: Choose & Book & other in house - bespoke GP practice management IT systems such as OneRoom & SuccessPathways.
Ability to support and mentor GP Registrars, Medical Students and other allied Health Professionals
Ability to effectively manage surgeries and accurately input patient data onto the clinical system in a timely manner
Take an active role and contribute to Practice meetings

To provide personal medical services to the registered practice population and to ensure that targets are met in terms of activity and quality in line with the PMS / GMS / APMS or any other contract that may exist between Stratford Village Surgery (SVS), Church Road Health (CRH), Cumberland Medical Centre (CMC), E7 Health (E7H) and Newham (or other) CCG National Commissioning Board.
