Sirona care & health CIC is seeking a Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) for a secondment/fixed term position within their Response Team in Bristol. This team consists of specialized community public health nurses who provide essential information, support, and interventions to families with children and young people following visits to emergency care settings. The role focuses on primary prevention, early intervention, and partnership working, and involves contacting families to offer assessments, support, and referrals based on data from local urgent care reports.

In addition to direct support for families, the nurse will collaborate with various urgent care settings throughout the BNSSG area, enhancing communication and awareness of public health nursing’s role. The position also includes attending and participating in liaison meetings with urgent care facilities to strengthen partnerships and ensure a cohesive approach to public health services for children aged 0-19. The nurse may also be called to provide in-person support within the emergency department as needed.
