The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician for its production units in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a busy pharmacy sterile unit on a rotational basis, requiring registration with the GPhC and substantial post-qualification experience, particularly in a leadership role within a hospital pharmacy. Key responsibilities include overseeing a team of technical staff, maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision in a demanding environment that produces approximately 50,000 doses annually, and planning and scheduling work effectively. Additionally, the role offers the chance to contribute to the management of new advanced therapy services launching in June 2025.

Candidates should possess strong leadership abilities, excellent people skills, and a thorough knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and stock control.
