The Senior Staff Nurse position at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in East Grinstead offers a dynamic opportunity to work within both an inpatient setting and a busy Outpatient Dressings Clinic. The role involves caring for children with minor to moderate burn injuries, as well as those requiring plastic surgery or maxillofacial treatment. Nurses will develop essential wound care skills and deliver high-quality, nurse-led services, all within a team known for its exceptional standards, as recognized by their "outstanding" CQC rating.

In this leadership role, the Senior Staff Nurse will manage daily ward operations, lead shifts, support junior staff, and collaborate closely with management to address patient care needs and challenges effectively. Responsibilities include preparing and caring for pre-op and post-op patients, assisting in the outpatient dressing clinic, and providing support to parents of children undergoing surgery.
